A fast-growing PropTech, our client is a pioneering Australian platform reshaping how vendors prepare, present, and profit from property. Their mission is to revolutionise how agents empower their vendors in preparing, showcasing and selling their most valuable asset – ultimately to drive more sales and deliver better results.
 
Duties:
 
Laser-focused on scaling their local footprint, our client needs a dynamic BDM / Relationship Manager to lead the charge across Melbourne’s real estate landscape.
 
This role will see you at the forefront of building and nurturing relationships with Real Estate agencies. You will introduce agencies to this platform, demonstrating how it solves their unique challenges, reduces operating expenses, and increases revenue etc.
  
  • Represent the product in market: building authentic relationships with Franchise groups, agency Directors, and frontline sales teams
  • Drive agency engagement: securing and conducting platform presentations to boost usage and adoption
  • Act as the go-to support contact for both agents and property vendors across onboarding, support, and service delivery (Until an Account Manager is brought on)
  • Manage your own schedule: working flexibility from home, their office and on the road (vehicle expenses reimbursed)
  • Report on activity, outcomes, and feedback that fuels platform and product optimisation and collaborate with the rest of the team
  • Supporting supplier onboarding and communications when required
     
Specific requirements:
  • A background in real estate: either in sales, support, property marketing, or ideally from a similar industry supplier —  a love for the industry is a must
  • Be a confident, polished communicator with exceptional phone manner and natural poise in person
  • Autonomous and resilient: you’re comfortable navigating early-stage business volatility and managing your own schedule and output
  • Strong commercial instincts: you understand how agents think and can speak their language
  • A natural networker: you’re not just good with people — you get people, and they remember you.
  • Melbourne metro-based with your own vehicle and willingness to be on the road seeing clients
